We’re excited for summer and as only modest cocktail makers we’re always on the lookout for exciting new recipes that are easy to understand.
Our favourite venues across London this summer for cocktail drinking include Frank’s rooftop over in Peckham based in a car park, it’s not a big secret (sometimes the queues go for down a couple of floors in the car park!) but it’s also a fantastic vantage point and the food is amazing. Don’t expect burgers and chips, the chefs serve up a tasty selection of meaty and veggie options. Brixton Village, under the railway arches, is another amazing venue which isn’t a secret… The market houses dozens of independent restaurants and bars ranging from far-east Sushi to South American feasts. Market Row is the extra bit across the road, also under railway arches, including Seven at Brixton, which serves up trendy tapas and cocktails.
Having enjoyed the delights of London’s amazing cocktails we’re desperate to make them at home and show off at summer BBQs.
To get us into the spirit (pun intended) The Cocktail Crashers show us how to make a pimped up G&T for after work!
