Swiss-born artist Till Rabus will make his UK debut at Lazarides Gallery with his new exhibition Forms of Everyday.

The title of the exhibition, alludes to the cultural references and commonplace objects the artist utilizes in his creative process. Drawing from his day-today existence, Rabus highlights the implicit, yet forgotten decay of one’s habitual surroundings.

From a distance, each work of art resembles a photograph of an unusual and thought-provoking composition. Upon closer inspection, the photographic illusion dissipates to reveal the classic medium of oil on canvas. Think of the artist as a modern day Salvador Dali.
