The Converse and 100 Club curated music series kicked off in June last year when Graham Coxon headlined and played the first packed out show, since then the likes of Everything Everything, Little Roy and Gross Magic, Fanfarlo, The Rapture and Ghostpoet have taken to the stage. Cementing the success of this unique partnership, Converse and 100 Club continue to deliver an exciting line-up for fans, showcasing today’s best and freshest emerging artists. The partnership also gives 100 Club the opportunity to introduce a new generation to its renowned gigs, by once again bringing the best music to its legendary stage. 100 Club will continue to oversee the schedule of performances as it has for over 65 years, in addition to presenting this new free series alongside Converse

With a well-deserved place on the BBC Sound of 2012 list, Dot Rotten, previously known as Young Dot, has made a storming start to the new year with new single ‘Are You Not Entertained’ being named Zane Lowe’s ‘hottest record of the week’. Counting a diverse range of musical influences including Sting, Bob Marley and ‘Lil Wayne, the south Londoners sound is leading the UK’s grime scene and crossing over to mainstream and chart success. Already a hailed MC and producer (Tine Tempeh, Wiley, Ghetts) Dot Rotten now sits of the brink of big things in his own right. This is one show you will want to witness.

Manchester based artist Darren Williams, better known as Star Slinger and already touted by Guardian’s New Band of The Day as an act to keep your eye on, brings his unique sound to London for what is shaping up to be one hell of a line up. Best known for taking old R&B album cuts and spinning them into new songs. His debut album, Volume 1, sees snippets of Prefab Sprout and Musical Youth take centre stage. In addition, Star Slinger played hip hop and dance orientated sets on the festival circuit last year and is now working on a follow up album: Volume 2.

To celebrate the launch of the new UK comedy ‘HUGE’ on the 3rd of October – we are giving you the opportunity of winning a copy on DVD.

In comedian Ben Miller’s (The Armstrong & Miller Show, Johnny English) directorial debut the audience is taken on a hilarious and heartfelt journey to the dark side of stand-up comedy. BAFTA-winning actor Noel Clarke (Adulthood, 4.3.2.1) and BAFTA-nominated Johnny Harris (This Is England ’86, London To Brighton) are joined by BAFTA-winning actress Thandie Newton (Run Fat Boy Run), Michelle Ryan (Bionic Woman) and comedy’s finest names: Eddie Izzard, David Baddiel, Jo Brand, Jack Dee, Harry Hill and many more. Russell Tovey (Being Human) and Tamsin Egerton (St Trinian’s) also co-star.

Feuding comedy duo Warren & Clark (played by Johnny Harris and Noel Clarke) dream of making it HUGE. As they gig around the comedy clubs of London they discover an unforgiving, cut-throat comedy circuit that is incredibly difficult to break into. In a world that wants to deny their destiny, Warren and Clark must find a way to stick together if they are to have a chance at success.

All you have to do is Email us at info@informedlondon.com with what was Noel Clark’s first film with Adam Deacon. Place HUGE in the Subject line.
