Since launching, Supa Dupa Fly have had 3 literally road blocked nights at The Jazz Café by bringing back the golden days of 90s Hip-Hop and R&B. Named after Missy’s first Album (but you knew that), the music is ONLY 90s Hip-Hop and R&B, so expect to hear the best of Dre, Snoop, Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Tribe and lots more good stuff around live sets from Random Impulse and Delusionists. This will also be the Official After Party for the DMC World DJ Championships London Heat.

If all that’s not enough, selected Pints & Vodka mixers are just £2.20 so we’re even doing 90s prices on the drinks!

Yeti ENK with Mighty Moe vs Royal T @ Visions Video Bar / Friday 8th July 2011

TIME AND PLACE:

Open: 22:00 – 04:00

@ Visions Video Bar, 588 Kingsland Road, London E8 4AH

Entry: £5 all night

www.yetiinthebasement.com

The hottest basement party this summer. Yeti ENK are here to get you skanking.

Mighty Moe
Mighty Moe aka Metric Moses is a veteran and pioneer of the UK underground. Originally a Hip Hop DJ, he joined the renowned Heartless Crew as a teenager and developed his uniquely vibrant, catchy and intelligent style that made him into the living garage legend he is today. It goes without saying that Moe has influenced and inspired so many of today’s modern artists. Yeti grew up on his Crisp Biscuit sound and we’re super excited to be able to bring this legend together with another in the making. He’s not called Mighty for nothing.

VS

Royal T
Grime hasn’t seen this amount of hype in a long time. The rebirth of the rave is rightly due to Southampton based producer, Royal T and Rinse DJ’s and Butterz label founders, Elijah and Skilliam. A heavy focus on them golden year vibes, T’s “hyped-up-funk-infused” grime beats are on point. UKG fan or not, you’ll still find yourself skanking away. With an army of hefty remixes for the likes Katy B, Yasmin, Terror Danjah, TRC and Wiley, T’s approach to music has certainly got the entire scene gagging for more. Bringing his sound together with the legendary Mighty Moe vibes will be soothing to behold…this is going to be special. Don’t miss out!

The night is rounded off with 4 soon to be massive acts on 4 dope UK labels. Ramadanman & Joy O fav Ossie, the regal Dalston electro boogie act Royalty, the uber talented electronic producer Chairman Kato, fresh from his Tea Smith art / music installation, and Huntleys & Palmers very own Auntie Flo.
