Breaking Bread: Sonic Feast at Ace Hotel on Thursday 19 April 2018

A monthly gathering serving up a feast for the mind and body. Sonic Feast is the second edition, showcasing the correlation between Taste and Sound with inspiring speakers and a multisensory sit down dinner specially composed to highlight the immersive power these two senses hold when brought together. 🍴 🎶

The soundtrack to the event will be provided by Edwin Hind, well-known as part of Anglo-German duo Picnic at the Whitehouse, part of the emerging Berlin underground techno scene (1985 – 1990) and the lead singer/songwriter of Liverpool indie Synth pop outfit “Virgin Dance” who gained fame through an acclaimed John Peel Session on BBC Radio 1.

Food festival pop-up at Television Centre from Thursday 12 April to Saturday 14 April 2018

A free three-day food festival in the iconic forecourt. The Live at Television Centre Festival will feature a range of curated food vendors; including Bluebird Café, Homeslice, Kricket, Patty & Bun, Butterscotch and Bad Sports. 😛 📺 🍻 🎉

Featuring interactive workshops, unique pop-ups, a music programme curated by YOYO’s Seb Chew and a special live performance of BBC theme tunes from the BBC Concert Orchestra.

The festival will showcase a range of ‘test card’ menus from the leading line-up of restaurants, many of which are due to open permanent sites at Television Centre. Homeslice will be offering a slice of pizza and beer deal; Kricket will be serving its epic Bhel puri and Keralan fried chicken (KFC) whilst the crowd favourite Ari Gold will be on the menu in slider form at Patty & Bun. Bluebird Café will feature hero dishes including Nduja crusted yellow fin tuna with grilled onion and green sauce, whilst tacos and margaritas will be brought to West London by the city’s favourite taqueria, Bad Sports. The Allis, a cocktail concept by the Soho House Group will be open and offering a selection of fruity cocktail options too.

Accompanying the diverse food and drink offerings will be a programme of DJ performances curated by YOYO’s Seb Chew, while the festival will also feature a series of live podcasts from The Pod and a live performance from the BBC Concert Orchestra on Thursday 12 April at 7:30pm.

Winter rooftop (with heating and retractable roof!) at Dalston Roof Park this winter 2017

Opening its winter doors (with roof and heating) for the first time ever, Dalston Roof Park has events throughout winter. It has regenerated itself for the ‘Winter Roof Park’ series where you can expect special events for Christmas and New Year plus parties with special guest DJs, an array of movie nights, screenings and talks. There will also be excellent food and drinks available. The space is dressed with a winter theme with heaters and a cover to stop the cold getting in and keep you toasty! 🎉 🔊 🎅 🙌 ❄️ 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩 🍺 🍷

The food selection will include winter warmer goodies, mixing it up at a range of events across winter the team are planning Christmas lunches, special parties alongside incredible cheese dishes plus batches of warming mulled wine.

All profits made at Dalston Roof Park support the work of Bootstrap Company a registered charity. The Bootstrap Fund help to support social ventures and creative companies within the building.

Winter Rooftop Cinema
Every Wednesday welcomes the rooftop cinema screening winter classics with comfy cushions, seating, pillows and duvets keeping all attendees snug and entertained.

Bringing together 5 of London’s top BBQ kings to East London’s favourite venue, for a one-off day/night kebab extravaganza.

Set within the warehouse and yard of renowned location space MC Motors in Dalston, Lucky Chip Soundsystem will provide the tunes whilst Ruby’s will be supplying delicious Turkish-themed cocktails. Camden Town Brewery are on top of the beers and there’ll be a dedicated wine bar matching your Burgundy with your beef and your chicken with your Chenin.

Ticket price includes 5 kebabs, a Camden Town beer, Turkish Mojito (Turkitho’s before 6pm). Doors open at 3pm and there’ll be entertainment throughout. The venue is split in two with a large outdoor yard area as well as an extensive warehouse space.

Kebabs on the day will be served up by some of London’s favourite chefs including Carl Clarke (Chick’n Sours), Neil Rankin (Smokehouse), Mangal 1, Berber & Q and Lucky Chip.

For £25 you’ll get:

Twenty Something London has sunk its teeth into a bigger, better and beefier event for 2015, partnering with Red Stripe and The Paperworks to bring the city’s burger-mad the chance to consume an unacceptable amount of the capital’s best calibre burgers all under one roof.

This month our friends at Twenty Something London have informed us about an exciting new pop-up American diner in a secret Brixton location, which will run across two weekends in March.

Created by the guys behind The Pickled Fork, this meal of epic proportions will be a feast for all your senses. So, it’s time to get yourselves ready and make your bookings for one of 2014’s most hotly anticipated pop-ups.
