London Clown Festival at various venues from 17 May until 3 June 2018

Returning for its third year bringing the best of UK and International Clowning to the capital. Featuring a program of exciting, inspiring and eclectic mixes of performers who embody the principals of this timeless art form from countries all over the world. 🤡 🤣

Championing the rise of contemporary clowning giving a performance platform to a plethora of talented national and international performers. These talented groups and individuals set about driving people in paroxysms of laughter with the mere twitch of an eyebrow. 2018 will be even more hilarious.

The influence of Clown is found everywhere once you know what to look for, and there is little chance that anyone who loves comedy with a physical edge doesn’t love some part of a clown performance, with performers as diverse as Tommy Cooper, Charlie Chaplin. Buster Keaton. Sasha Baron Cohen (Ali G, Borat), French and Saunders, Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean) and Rik Mayall amongst many that use an often huge degree of clowning in their performances.
