Otto Schade’s paintings range from abstract and surrealism to urban art. Working with oil paint and traditional supports such as canvas, he also gravitates towards other techniques such as collage, illustrations, stencil and graffiti. The themes behind his compositions read in a personal, metaphorical sense with a sharp, ironic touch. Schade’s paintings show a unique style,, exposing a inventive imagination coupled with a refined technique.

Schade was born in Chile and initially studied Architecture and Construction/Deign Architecture in his native country. As a successful architect, he has been awarded many public and private projects.

Schade has exhibited in many parts of the world: Concepcion (Chile), Berlin, Moscow, New York, Amsterdam and finally in London, where he is currently based.
