Beach, one of London’s most exciting new art spaces, launches on the 7th July 2011.

Over two floors, Beach has a café and small-press book and print shop on its’ ground floor, and an art gallery in the basement.

July 7th will see the launch of ‘Beach Editions’ in the gallery space – a series of new artworks by Beach artists John Bohl, Sister Arrow and Sean Morris, as well as exclusive works by James Unsworth, Anna-Faye Gillespie, Carl Partridge and Danny Espinoza – artists whose work is influenced by low-brow media, such as Comics, Magazines and Zines.

Our café and bookshop space will feature the best in local and international small-press, zines, mags, and stationary, including stuff from Fourteen-Nineteen, Nieves, Ditto Press, Panther Club, Landfill Editions, Duke Press, Museums Press, Present Joys, Field Notes and many more.
In the bookshop on the launch night, we’ll be launching Beach’s first limited edition Publication, a book of Photos called ‘Lifestyles of The Poor and Unknown’ #1, by the Essex-based collective of the same name.
