Floating Cinema will be showing London-centric and other films on its own screen and projected on waterside buildings. From Monday 18th July, The Floating Cinema will reside outside Shoreditch Trust’s Waterhouse Restaurant for five days as part of Shoreditch Festival 2011, featuring on board artists’ film screenings each evening.

Pecha Kucha style screening evening, 6-9pm:
A social evening for sharing film work amongst the boating community along the Regent’s Canal aboard the Floating Cinema. This will be a Pecha kucha style screening evening of film shorts or clips made by boaters.

Created by Hackney-based architects Studio Weave and artist duo Somewhere (Nina Pope and Karen Guthrie), this extraordinary customised narrow boat hosts a varied and vibrant programme of free on-board screenings, quirky canal tours, talks and workshops.
