With a whole smorgasbord of screenings, seminars and public BAFTA events, the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival is not one to be missed, giving a real insight into behind-the-scenes filmmaking and presenting some of the best shorts around.

Rushes Soho Shorts Festival, celebrating its 13th year, is proud to announce the Official Festival Programme for 2011. The non-profit event, which will take place from 20th to 29th July, is recognized as one of UKโ€™s best Short Film Festivals, with an equal focus on emerging and established talent.

The festival will open with feature documentary POM Wonderful presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, directed by Morgan Spurlock. 148 new short films from 27 countries have been selected for this yearโ€™s eight competitive categories: ย Long Form, International, Newcomer, Short Film, Documentary, Animation, Music Video and Broadcast Design.

The Official Competition Screenings will be held at The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), with tickets now on sale. These will be joined by Fujifilm Shorts nomineeโ€™s with all winners being announced at the Awards Ceremony will be held on Thursday 28th July 2011.
