Since their debut two years ago, Detachments have forged a post-punk inspired sound that’s earned them comparisons to OMD, New Order and The Cure. But their music has a strong electronic side to it as well, giving the band considerable crossover appeal. The band’s debut EP is a perfect marriage of groove-centered post-punk and early Warp-style synth. (Resident Advisor)
