Pitch Stratford at Stratford open all summer

Welcome to your new back yard. Pitch Stratford serves up chilled alfresco vibes and a jam-packed events schedule in a vibrant (and weather-proof) urban garden setting. 🌇 💁‍♀️ ☺️

Featuring street food, fully stocked bar and a giant screen for sports and films.

They’re running extended opening hours over the summer, particularly between 14 June and 15 July, when they’re hosting lots of FIFA World Cup screenings. ⚽️

Thursdays (from May onwards)
A wide range of fun activities to get stuck into. You can go alone or with friends and join in with anything from the Summer School series (all your favourite elementary school classes, redesigned for adults) to big-screen video games, double-date nights and East London’s freshest pub quiz.

Fridays
Celebrate the end of a hard week’s graft with a few after-work drinks (and a big party after). Go straight from the office with colleagues, then get your mates to join in later. Food and drink is of course served throughout and, when the music stops at Pitch, you can head across the road to the secret new speakeasy.

Saturdays
Family-friendly street food lunches, themed party nights – and a good few hours’ worth of open-air eating and drinking in between. During the day, you’ll find even more great street food than usual. A unique Saturday night is planned each week to see things interesting!

Sundays
The perfect day for brunching and they’re serving outside in the sunshine, along with DJs to boost the Ibiza vibe in the unlikely event of clouds.

Berliner Pilsner presents: The best place to enjoy the Euros. Off the beaten track and nestled under a railway arch, Berliner Pilsner is asking fans of the beautiful game to place their trust in The Soccer Lounge where the beer flows and the football’s always on – this is the ultimate way to experience the Euros.

The lounge is taking up residence for one month in the best of venues, bringing the outside in, at a vault beneath London Bridge. Bringing a decidedly Eurotrash vibe to the bar, Berliner Pilsner is calling all to celebrate the best of football past and present – the goals and the glory, the misery and the mullets. Come on down and take a punt on your team. It might not be so bad after all.

And for the VIPs Berliner is providing an extra level of synthesised German-based enjoyment – Ze Deck Chair Experience. The 12 most exclusive seats in the house guarantee a good time, whether you’re winning or losing, as Berliner provides towels (to mark your spot, of course), sunscreen and a round of beers to get you going. Can’t say fairer than that, can you?

Berliner Pilsner has been a stalwart of Berlin culture since its introduction to the German Democratic Republic in 1963 and is brewed according to the German purity law and finished with yeast from its own pure breed. The beer’s label boasts the notorious Berlin Bear, a unique mascot and symbol of the capital that appears across Berlin in the form of ‘Berlin Buddy Bears’ – a symbol of tolerance and openness.
