Winterland at Neverland Fulham open all winter 2018

Fulham’s first Thameside beach has had a retro ski chalet makeover – including a large heated winter lodge, hunting lodges, fondue and schnitzel, mountain scenes, feasting tables, gondolas and chairlifts, bauble filled igloos, karaoke, curling, DJs and much more. 🎿 ☃️

South West London’s most magical heated outdoor drinking, dining and entertainment destination. Winterland welcomes people to make the most of the yuletide season, with fur lined sofas, heated hunting lodges, retro gondolas and chairlifts, bauble filled igloos and firepits, a shimmering retro room, multiple bars, a private rose gold room for 40 guests, festive food from Jimmy’s Lodge, and much more.

As well as an incredible location for après-work dinner and drinks, Winterland will welcome down London’s hottest DJs and live musicians every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night for a mountaintop class party. And to keep guests entertained in between tunes, there’ll be a snowclad adult playground complete with neon-lit curling lanes and beer pong, putting pong table tennis and karaoke for all of those instagram filled moments.

Upon arrival guests will be greeted by Winterland’s very own ski resort staff to collect boarding tickets and embark on a journey to the Alps, where a festive world of warmth and merriness awaits – as well as a complimentary mulled wine on arrival.

Find the perfect spot for you – a romantic hut to snuggle up in, weekend family brunch spot in the Alps, or a party hotspot. Eat, drink, play games and listen to music alongside the river Thames offering affordable and heated outdoor drinking and dining at its best.

Entry starts at £5, giving access to any of the free seating from feasting tables to furry sofas. Limited tickets can be purchased on the door or jump the queue by pre-booking tickets. Don’t forget to pre-order your fondue after you’ve selected your ticket.

Indulge in Zeid’s obsession with line and dazzling colour in this exhibition. Rediscover one of the greatest female artists of the 20th century in this first major retrospective. 🎨

Trained in both Paris and Istanbul, Fahrelnissa Zeid was an important figure in the Turkish avant-garde d Group in the early 1940s and the École de Paris (School of Paris) in the 1950s. Her vibrant abstract paintings are a synthesis of Islamic, Byzantine, Arab and Persian influences fused with European approaches to abstraction. Many of her abstract works are monumental and demand attention.

Zeid’s reputation as an artist was cemented in the 1950s when she was living between London and Paris and exhibiting extensively internationally. The artist also began experimenting with painting on turkey and chicken bones, which she later cast in polyester resin panels evocative of stained-glass windows. In the later years of her life she unexpectedly returned to figurative painting, creating stylised portraits of her friends and family.
